As a child, I used to love the two tunnels which ran above the busy South Marketgait dual carriageway.
The red tunnel took you from the train station to Union street. I remember you could get into the Nethergate Centre through the same tunnel; although the place was pretty much a white elephant and most people used it as a shortcut to get out onto the Nethergate.
The blue tunnel took you from Tayside house through to the Olympia. I remember in the 90s both these tunnels would be very busy, and was always a great busking spot.
The red tunnel was first to go, about 07/08, and the blue tunnel has just recently alongside Tayside house been demolished.
